So, if you want to know what you can see in Egypt in 10 days, we will make it easy. On our website, we have done our best to help you plan your trip and get the most out of it. Each day, we’ll talk about an ideal route, and eventually, you’ll see other options that might work better for you.
Here are some of the most popular Egypt itineraries for 10 days with the highest ratings for spending a few days in Egypt:
- 10 Days Luxury package in Cairo and the Nile Cruise
- 10 Days Egypt Luxury Package in Cairo and Nile Cruise
- 10 Days Egypt Round Trip – Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Nile Cruise
We suggested an Egypt itinerary for 10 Days:
Day 1: Cairo City Tour

Now that you’re in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, it’s time to see as much as possible. We recommend going to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo to see the most important artifacts from ancient Egypt.
- Coptic Quarter: The Christian quarter of Cairo; in it, you can find the Church of Santa Barbara or the Hanging Church!
- Khan el-Khalili Bazaar: A large market at the mosque’s entrance with many alleys full of souks.
- National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
- The Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali
Day 2: Giza Pyramids Tour

On the second day, go to Saqqara, where the Step Pyramid of Djoser is located. Every pyramid after this one is built on top of that pyramid. Dahshur is famous for its beautiful pyramids, and the Ramses II monument is in Memphis. The Red Pyramid, which gets its name from the color of its stones, is also nearby.
The Great Pyramid of Giza (Khufu), the Middle Pyramid of Khafre, and the Small Pyramid of Menkaure are all in Giza, Egypt.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor

Take a flight from Cairo to Luxor, a historic city, and spend some time there. We suggest you spend this day going to places like the Temple of Ramses II, the Temple of Seti I, and the Valley of the Nobles that aren’t usually part of Nile cruises.
Days 4: Luxor Tour

On your fourth day in Egypt, get up early to take a hot air balloon ride to watch the sun rise over the Valley of the Kings. What happened to you was indeed something you will never forget. When ready, you can board the Nile Steamer, your temporary home, for the next few days.
Days 5, 6, and 7: Nile Cruise

Take it easy, cruise from one temple to the next, then relax in the pool as you gaze at the views of the Nile Valley on either side. This is the best way to see the world if you are not organized but still want to. It would be nice to have a guide for almost every trip in a country like this one, which has so much history. Most cruises from Luxor to Aswan take five days / 4 nights, but cruises are only four days / 3 nights from Aswan to Luxor.

Day 8: Aswan

You’ll see some of the city’s sights, but you may still have time to see more. The unfinished Obelisk, the Nubian Museum, the Aswan Dam, and the famous Philae Temple are must-see places.
Days 9 and 10: The Red Sea

Let’s take a break and go to the beach. We suggest you end your 10-day trip to Egypt with a few days in either Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh, or Dahab. Dahab has better beaches, and a more backpacker feels than the first two. Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are easy to get to from Cairo by bus or plane.
Marsa Alam is an excellent choice for people who want to go somewhere less crowded with tourists. You can dive or snorkel from any of these sites to explore the colorful and varied bottom of the Red Sea.
If you want to see Egypt in 10 days, fly from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo or find a direct flight home from this airport.

Transportation on a trip to Egypt
You’ve seen many ways to get around Egypt as you’ve been planning your trip. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, and Sharm El-Sheikh have airports. Flying is the fastest way to get somewhere and doesn’t always cost a lot. A sleeping train, also called a “night train,” lets you sleep on long trips in Egypt, like from Cairo to Aswan or Cairo to Luxor. Taxis are an excellent way to get around cities, but Uber or Careem, which work well in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Hurghada and are very cheap, are more convenient.
