With the 12-day Classic Egypt Nile cruise and stay package, you can make your dreams come true. On the outskirts of Cairo, you can see the pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the ancient necropolis of Saqqara. You can catch a bus to Aswan and a Nile cruise to Luxor from there. Visit and learn about some of the best archaeological sites in the Nile River Valley, such as the Temple of Philae, the Temple of Horus, the Kom Ombo Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and more. Leave the ship in Luxor and spend three beautiful days in Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea coast before returning to Cairo to catch your flight out of this fascinating country.

Day-to-day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will meet and assist you in finalizing all formalities. Then he will take you with one of our drivers to a 5-star hotel where you will stay in Cairo, the vibrant capital of Egypt.

When you get to the hotel, they will help you check in, talk to you about your travel plans, and confirm pickup times for your tours. After that, he will leave you to do whatever you want for the rest of your first day in Egypt.

Day 2:Giza Pyramids; Sakkara Necropolis, and Overnight Train to Aswan

After breakfast, your Egyptologist tour guide and one of our drivers will meet you at your hotel and take you to the famous Great Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos), the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. While in Giza, you can enjoy a camel ride before heading out for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

After spending some time at the pyramids, you will be taken to an excellent local restaurant for lunch. Next, you will go to Saqqara to see another ancient tomb. The Pyramid of Djoser is the most famous object on this site, and it was the first pyramid built in Egypt.

You can take your time to explore the cemetery, and when you’re ready, we’ll take you back to Cairo and transfer you to the Giza train so you can catch a clean, comfortable overnight sleeper train to Aswan. You will eat dinner on the train this evening in your cabin.

Day 3:Nile Cruise Embarkation and Aswan Tour

After breakfast, your train will arrive at Aswan Railway Station, where you will be met by one of our tour representatives. You will then proceed to the port, where you will board the five-star Nile Cruise Ship, which will be your home on the Nile for the next 3 nights of your Egypt cruise. You can have lunch on the cruise ship shortly after boarding, and then you’ll go on your first cruise.

During your cruise, you will go on all tours with a small group of other passengers and one of our expert Egyptologists. The first stop in today’s time is the Aswan High Dam. Next, we will go to the beautiful ancient Philae Temple. After you see this old sight, you will go to see the enormous Unfinished Obelisk and then return to the cruise ship.

In the evening, have a good dinner on board the cruise ship and spend the night of your Nile Cruise in Aswan.

Day 4:Kom Ombo Temple; Edfu Temple, and Overnight at Esna

While sailing to Kom Ombo, you can have breakfast on the Nile River. Your tour guide will take you to the magnificent Kom Ombo Temple when you get there.

This impressive ancient Egyptian building was two temples in one, and it was built for two gods: Horus the Great and Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world.

When your tour is over, you will return to the cruise ship, which will sail to Edfu. After a good lunch on the Nile, your tour guide will take you to the ancient Temple of Horus, the best preserved ancient Egyptian temple ever in Egypt, and it is also one of the largest ancient temples in Egypt.

After your tour, return to the cruise ship and enjoy the rest of the afternoon as you sail to Esna. On this night of your cruise, you will stay at Esna on the Nile.

Day 5:Sail to Luxor with West Bank and East Bank Tours.

While sailing to Luxor, enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the Nile. When you arrive in Luxor, your tour guide will take you on a tour of Luxor on the West Bank to see three of the best sights in the area. During this tour, you will see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.

When your tour is over, you’ll return to the cruise ship for lunch, after which your guide will take you to an ancient Egyptian monument, this time on the east bank in Luxor.

First, you will go to Karnak Temple, and then you will go to Luxor Temple. Both archaeological sites are among the most popular in Egypt. After you tour the East Bank of Luxor, you will return to your cruise

ship just in time for afternoon tea. On this day of your Nile cruise, there are no other excursions planned, so you’ll spend the rest of the day to yourself. You will dine and spend the last night of your Nile cruise in Luxor.

Day 6:Fly to Sharm and Leisure Time

Enjoy your last breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship. Then disembark from the boat and head to Luxor Airport to catch your flight from Luxor to Sharm El Sheikh.

When you arrive in Sharm El Sheikh, you will be met at the airport and taken directly to the hotel, where you will spend the next four nights of your vacation in Egypt.

Note: Most flights from Luxor to Sharm El-Sheikh are indirect and go via Cairo.

Day 7, 8, and 9: Leisure Time and/or Optional Excursions

Your vacation and stay are more than just a sightseeing trip in Egypt; it’s also a time to relax and unwind, which is what the next three days are about. You can spend lazy days at the beach, trekking, or doing activities like windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and much more. Sharm is a place that people of all ages love to visit.

This charming Egyptian city, often called Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera, has plenty to see and do. The person in charge of our tours will also be happy to make any arrangements you need.

Day 10:Flight to Cairo and Leisure Time

After breakfast at the hotel, our tour representative will meet you and will head to Sharm El-Sheikh Airport to take the return flight to Cairo.

When you land in Cairo, your tour manager will meet you and take you to the hotel where you will spend the last two nights of your flight to Egypt.

Day 11:Cairo Sightseeing Tour Egyptian museum, Citadel of Saladin, and Old Cairo

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time, and your tour of Cairo will begin. In the morning, you will go to the Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel, and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Alabaster. You will be taken to a good restaurant in the area for lunch.

After lunch, you will go to Islamic Cairo to see the centuries-old Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Afterward, you will visit Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Saint Barbara Church, and Abu Serga Church. Now that your tour is over, you will be returned to your hotel for your last night in Cairo.

Prices

  • Prices are in US dollars per person per trip and you can pay in any other currency.
  • Rates are subject to change in case of any changes in airport taxes, hotel rates, transport rates, or government taxes.

  • Travel insurance and entry visa charges are not included in the package.

Tipping in Egypt

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is entirely up to the discretion of travelers. Although it is not mandatory, it is of great importance to the people who take care of you while traveling.

Extra Expenses

Extra personal expenses on the trip may include a food tour, alcoholic beverages, tipping, visa fees, recreational expenses, and other services not listed.

  • Additional transport that you require.
  • Tipping for the guide and driver after the trip.
  • In case of unforeseen events like bad weather conditions and eventual flight cancellations, you are responsible for extra hotel nights and meals.

Optional Visits & Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as entering the pyramids from inside, the mummies’ room in Museum, or entering the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.
  • We are offering a low down payment of just 25% to secure your spaces on tour, including hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flight tickets, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, making you’re booking a risk-free investment.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation after confirmation with payment before 30 days of the commencement of the tour: 10% of the value of the tour package.
  • Canceling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour: 25% of the value of the package
  • Canceling 19-15 days before commencing the tour: 50% of the tour cost
  • Canceling 14-11 days before commencement of the tour: 75% of the tour cost
  • Canceling before 10 days or less before the tour date: No refund for the tour

Children Policy

  • Up to 2 years: FREE
  • Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price
  • Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price
  • Ages 12 and Up: adult price.
