You will be picked up From Port Said by your Egyptologist guide; You’ll start your day visiting the Giza Plateau, only about 30 minutes from Cairo, where your Egyptologist guide will give a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
After visiting the pyramids, your guide will offer you an unforgettable photo opportunity by continuing across the plateau to catch the view of the three pyramids rising from the sand, with the Cairo skyline in the background.
A short walk from the city side of the plateau, you find yourself standing at the feet of the Great Sphinx, thousands of years old, the mystical symbol of Egypt! Also, in Giza, you can visit the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of Khafre.
Your next stop is the Saqqara Necropolis, home to the oldest central stone structure in the world. Your guide will introduce the history of the famous Step Pyramid built by the engineer Imhotep in the Third Dynasty (2630 BC) for King Djoser. You will then proceed to the Saqqara necropolis, Mastabet Ti, and Emir Ptahhotep. You will also have the opportunity to visit the traditional bazaar for artwork and buy your work if you like.
After your tour, you will be returned to From Port Said.
