Day 1:Arrival in Cairo

When you arrive at Cairo International Airport in Egypt for an 8-day budget tour, your tour manager will meet and assist you. They will then take you to the hotel where you will stay during your stay in Cairo.

At the hotel, he’ll help you check in and go over your trip plan with you to make sure you know when you’ll be picked up on your tours.

After all the paperwork is done, he’ll say goodbye, and you’ll be on your own for the rest of the day and evening.

Day 2:Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Travel by Sleeping Train to Aswan.

After breakfast, your Egyptologist tour guide and one of our drivers will meet you at your hotel and take you to the famous Great Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos), the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. While in Giza, you can enjoy a camel ride before heading out for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

The next place you’ll go is the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world’s most extensive collection of objects from Ancient Egypt, from the pre-dynastic period to the Roman Empire. There are sculptures, papyri, masks, jewelry, coins, reliefs, vessels, amulets, funerary objects, and objects from everyday life.

In the end, you will be taken to the train station in Cairo, where you will board a sleeper train to Aswan. After the train leaves Cairo, dinner will be brought to your cabin.

Once on the boat, you can have lunch. Then, one of our guides will take you on a short tour of Aswan to see the Aswan High Dam, the ancient Temple of Philae, and the ancient unfinished Obelisk, the largest of its kind ever.

After your tour, you’ll return to the ship, where you’ll have some time to yourself before dinner. You will spend the night of your trip in Aswan on the Nile.

Since two Gods shared this temple, you can expect to find two of everything here.

After your tour, you will return to the ship, which will sail to Edfu, where you will go on another unforgettable tour, this time to the Temple of Horus, the best ancient Egyptian temple ever found in Egypt.

During this tour, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut’s Tomb, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Ancient kings were buried in the Valley of the Kings. In 1922, Howard Carter found the tomb of King Tutankhamun there. There are also 61 other ancient tombs besides this one, though only a small number are open to the public. Some of the tombs are included in our tours, but you need a separate ticket to get into “special” tombs. At the site, you can buy tickets to see these tombs.

After your Luxor West Bank tour, you’ll return to the ship and have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. You can have lunch, tea in the afternoon, and dinner on the ship, and you can spend this night of your trip at Luxor on the water.
